Hello! I am a fellow mother looking for a family to help. I have 12+ years of inhome experience working with autistic children. I have learned through books and growth how special these individuals are but just how much help is really needed with raising these superstars. Looking for a family to help grow and support. I'd describe my personality as friendly, caring I like working with kids because seeing the world through their eyes is magical In my spare time, I like to hike. Love being around nature! One thing you should know about me is I am lots of fun but very routine. I think the structure helps with regulation so I try to stick to that as much as possible. My skills include deescalating a blowup, keeping my cool and staying calm when a frustration comes out, I have personal experience with aggressive behaviors and what it takes to regain regulation. And I do everything in my power to build up that littles self-esteem as I think that is the most powerful tool in growing.
