About Samantha

Hello, my name is Sam! I grew up in a small town south of Madison, WI. I enjoy playing sports, traveling, time outside, staying active, reading, and creating activities. I am a recent graduate from the University of Platteville with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood. I relocated to Wilmington at the beginning of September. My love for children started at a young age, I grew up watching my cousins, which then led to babysitting other kids, nannying during my summers, working at daycares, and earning my degree in education. I truly have a passion for children, I love seeing them succeed and achieve tasks at their highest ability. During my experience, I have learned the importance of relationship building, exposure to new experiences, encouraging creativity, being patient, and respecting one another.
