About Samantha

Hello parents, nice to meet you! I'ma student at SLCC looking forward to meeting new families! Child care has been the highlight of my work experience over the last 7 years. I have worked in daycare and home settings, and it has truly been the most rewarding work for me! When I watch children, I strive to be patient and supportive, while encouraging age-appropriate standards for discipline, emotional regulation, and social skills. Different personalities and temperaments are not inconvenient for me, and I respect a family's values and preferences. I am ready and willing to help out with any household chores you may need a hand with. My approach is educated by the play-based High Scope Curriculum for infants and toddlers.
