About Samantha

Professionally, I am a bilingual speech-language pathologist with experience evaluating and treating both children and adults diagnosed with communication, feeding/swallowing, and cognitive disorders and/or differences. I currently work in a pediatric hospital outpatient clinic, and I have experience in the public schools as well. Outside of work, I provide specialized tutoring for children in the following subjects: English, Spanish, reading, and spelling. I enjoy incorporating cognitive-based approaches for children struggling with executive function skills as well. Regarding adult services, I provide tutoring sessions for those learning second languages (e. g., English and Spanish grammar, pronunciation, and conversational skills). I also enjoy supporting university students enrolled in courses related to audiology, phonetics (English and Spanish), language disorders, and second language acquisition.
