About Samantha

I have a PhD in Math and Science Education with roughly 23yrs in education. I specialize in MS & HS core subjects as well as entrance test prep. I use evidence-based teaching practices combined with a personalized education teaching style to meet each kid's unique learning style. Over the years I have acquired & developed several instructional tools to help my students. In addition to teaching students coursework, I also focus on time management, organizational skills, growth mindset. I have worked with several students who are neurodivergent, including autistic kids and those with ADHD, traumatic brain injuries, & processing disorders. I have worked a lot with student anxiety as well, specifically as it relates to testing & academic pressure. My specialty lies in making content accessible for students, building their confidence, and getting students independent so they can navigate their academic careers successfully without me.
