About Samantha

My name is Samantha P. I am originally from Sterling Heights, MI, but currently live in Shelby Township, MI. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a major in Language Arts from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and later added on additional endorsements in Mathematics and Spanish at Oakland University in Rochester Hills. This year marks my 10-year anniversary of working in education! During the past decade, I have taught in my own classroom for six years, as well as tutored and substitute taught in Macomb and Oakland Counties. I have had the privilege of working with all grade levels kindergarten through ninth grade. My favorite subjects are English language arts, math, and Spanish. I love working with students one-on-one and in small groups, getting to know them, and helping them grow in their confidence and skills through personalized instruction. I also have a lot of experience working with English Language Learners and bilingual students.
