Sammie started working for my family in early pandemic when the sky was falling, I had left a bad marriage when the world was falling apart and had little support. I had a 6wk old baby girl, and 2 and 3 year old boys (all boy, allll the boys). What started as a low expectation babysitting hire turned into the reason I survived single momdom. Never once asked her to start doing my laundry, tidying my home to perfection before I got home from a ten hour day of work and three hours of traffic, buying my children gifts, cooking for them, stocking art activity supplies, etc etc etc. Never once did I ask or expect her to go above and beyond in the way that she did. She did it, because of who she is as a person and the pride she takes in caring for others and exceeding expectations. She gives of herself to everyone around her in the best of ways. Aside from being a qualified childcare provider (previous experience at a Goddard plus babysitting), she became the only person I could leave my children with and actually check out as a mom, knowing they were safe and fully loved. She has become family to my children, and myself… because of who she is, not because of the job listing she accepted. I would recommend her for pretty much any job that involved children or caring for others. The god lord broke the mold when they made her.
