About Samantha

Hi! My name is Samantha and I am 21 years old. I am a junior at the University of Rhode Island studying Elementary Education and Communications. Originally, I am from Wellesley, Massachusetts but during the school year I live in Rhode Island. I have a great deal of experience with children of preschool through elementary age in both the classroom, babysitter/nanny, and camp setting. Currently, I am a student teacher in a fourth grade classroom where I have the opportunity to teach the children, grade their assignments, and learn from my classroom teacher. Also, I was a nanny for a year and a half and loved every minute of it. It was a great experience to be able to help the children with their academics while also bringing them to the park, playing games, and crafting. During camp seasons, I always had a blast making sure the children were enjoying themselves at camp activities and did what I could to help them enjoy the activities they were not especially fond of. No matter what the setting is, I am responsible, experienced, energetic, supportive, and caring. I am available on nights and weekends as well as late nights during the week.
