About Samantha

In my experience with teaching and as a caregiver, I have grown a strong passion for ensuring a safe and exciting space for children as they grow and learn and become the pioneers of our future. With 3 years in caregiving and 1 in teaching (art teacher at multiple schools, P-K/T-K-7th grade), I am confident in my ability to provide a fun atmosphere while also encouraging learning, creativity, and curiosity. Whether we're engaging in outdoor activities, playing board games, or exploring educational games, I strive to make learning and play enjoyable. I believe in effective and open communication with parents and prefer to give regular updates on their children. I am also very comfortable with enforcing household rules. I am experienced with caring for ages 1-12+, however as I have a 2-door car, I prefer to care for 6+ if it is expected to drop/pick them up or run errands together. I am very comfortable with pets and can help with cooking, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
