About Samantha

I have had the privilege to know and work with Samantha over the past two years. During that time I was the Site Supervisor of the Preschool Room at Family Service, while Samantha was my Teacher Assistant. Samantha and I worked very closely together to meet all the needs of the children we taught. Some of Samantha's job responsibilities were: helping me write daily lesson plans, helping teach the children on a daily basis, and taking on the roll of a Site Supervisor when I was absent. What I am most fond about Samantha is her willingness to help our where needed. Samantha was not afraid of a challenge and if she was asked to help out in a different room she would do so without hesitation. Throughout the two years I watched Samantha make believers, achievers, and dreamers out of the children she helped teach. She was always kind to the children and held them accountable for their actions. I never received one negative complaint about Samantha from parents or co-workers. She was always kind and carried a smile wherever she went. Samantha never gave me 100% she gave me 110% everyday. I could never understand where all that energy came from. If Samantha was having a rough day you would never know, because she always remained positive and never brought her problems to work with her. During Samantha 's time at Family Service has worked with children of special needs, and children from other cultures. She was never afraid of a challenge would meet it head on. In the two years I knew Samantha one of the hardest decisions she had to make was to leave Family Service. We talked about it a lot. She wanted to move to Colorado to be closer to her family, but she did not want to leave the children she spent loving and caring for behind. This decision weighed on her heavily. I believe Samantha would be an asset to any employer she will work for. In my 15 years as an Early Childhood Educator I would take Samantha as my teacher assistant any day. She was one of the best I have ever worked with. The children we taught were fortunate to have her. Not only will she bring great teaching strategies to the children she works with, but she will also be a positive role model for them. It is my honor to recommend Samantha G. to you for employment.
