About Samantha

Hello! My name is Sam, I am a 23-year-old Environmental Educator in Kenmore looking for a fun summer nannying job! I grew up babysitting for many families (since 2014) including neighborhood kids, family friends, and my own younger sisters and cousins. I was also a summer nanny in 2019 and 2020 for 3 families (kids ages 3-13). I graduated with Magna Cum Laude from Western Washington University in 2022 with a degree in Environmental Studies and minors in Environmental Education and Justice. Since then, I have been working at nonprofits doing environmental education for elementary age students. My passion is teaching and my favorite part of my job is hanging out with youth. In my free time, I love reading, making art, spending time outdoors, and cooking. I consider myself to be very responsible, positive, adaptable, and compassionate. Parents have often told me they feel their children are safe and have a blast with me. I am certified in First Aid/CPR and Youth Mental Health First Aid.
