About Samantha

Hello! My name is Samantha. I'm a graduate from American University with a bachelors degree in Criminal Law and Psychology and a current Masters degree student at John Jay, studying Forensic Mental Health Counseling. I have over 10 years of experience with children. I had my first babysitting job 10 years ago as a freshman in high school, and have been working with kids continuously since. During high school, I worked at a children's art/gymnastics after school center. Additionally, I had the opportunity to teach children martial arts (in the form of self defense) on a weekly basis at the dojo I have trained at since I was 4 years old. During my time in undergrad, I babysat and nannied for a variety of families in the Washington, DC area. I am passionate about children and I truly enjoy spending my time with them. I'm trustworthy and responsible, and believe in treating kids I babysit as if they were my own.
