About Samantha

Hi, my name is Samantha. I graduated from Saint Louis University Madrid in 2023 with a B. A. in Psychology and a minor in English. For the past two years, I've worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at a school and clinic for autism, primarily supporting children ages 4-12. As an RBT, I've developed skills in responding to and improving emotional dysregulation. I also worked on skill acquisition in a noncompliance-based setting, learning different strategies and forms of communication to foster growth and engagement. Outside of work, I have extensive caregiving experience as the second oldest of seven siblings, two of whom have significant physical needs. I'm comfortable with personal care tasks such as toileting and hygiene. I have reliable transportation, am fluent in English, and speak conversational Spanish. I'm open to helping with light cooking or cleaning and am passionate about creating a safe, engaging space where kids can thrive.
