About Samantha

Hi! I am an experienced tutor in languages, history, and government/social studies. I am proficient in German and Russian, and have been tutoring English for 4 years, and History and Government for 3. I love to write and read! Many students hate English and History, but I firmly believe it's because classroom learning often doesn't showcase how interesting it can be. I have tutored specifically for improving SAT/ACT scores, as well as for AP Lang and Government (I received a 5 on both) I have studied world history in Germany, France, and Ukraine, and can bring actual travel experience into learning! I also have experience in public speaking, from years of competitive speech and debate, acting, and leadership positions in University. I have worked with ages 12 and up, at various levels of understanding in all subjects. I promise a personalized tutoring experience that will educational and fun.
