I have experience in providing assistance/ companionship to my grandparents and elderly aunt. I can speak conversational Spanish. Medical Experience: I've been a Type 1 Diabetic for 24 years so I am experienced in dealing with low blood sugars, counting carbs, changing infusion sites, sensors, insulin handling, etc. I also helped administer medication/ pills. Exercise/ Movement: I can assist with stretches, exercise, going on walks, etc. Crafts/ Other: I can help with doing brain activities, and crafts as well. I play the piano so I can play music for them to enjoy. If they are in a facility, I'm happy to video chat their families every visit so that they talk to one another. Cleaning/ Other: If needed, I help with light house cleaning such as laundry/folding, dishes, vacuuming, etc.
