About Salina

I have an extreme passion for working with individuals under the autism spectrum, as well as other individuals with special needs. I have over 8 years in the field with 1:1 instruction working with behavioral and academic skills. I have worked in a school and home setting with the use of applied behavioral analysis. I have experience in discrete trial training, positive behavioral support, picture exchange communication, functional analysis and treatment of severe problem behavior. I address and facilitate applied behavior analysis for students under the autism spectrum with positive behavioral support to help teach functional skills to help the students progressively learn rational logic as independent living and academic skills, at their own individual pace. My love for working with individuals with autism is my life! It all about motivation and helping the individual in a fun learning environment and positive setting! I also have experience with phonics, and all subjects up to 12th grade.
