About Salem

Originally from Kansas City, I moved to St. Louis in 2018 to attend SLU. Prior to my move, and during my trips home on breaks from school, I worked as a teacher for infants and 1-year-olds at an Early Head Start program. This was my first job, and the experiences I had there fostered my love for working with young kiddos! Upon graduating SLU in 2021 with my B. S. in Psychology, I have since worked both in long-term and short-term nannying, as well as occasional babysitting, of course! While enrolled in my online Master's of Education program through Mizzou, I plan on furthering my career in childcare and early education. I currently have formal experience in caring for children aged 3 months-13 years, and I love to find ways to make our time together both easy-going and fun, while also inspiring developmentally appropriate educational and creative growth.
