About Sakura

Hello! I'm a creative, bright, and patient person. I love working with kids and making a positive impact on their lives. I'm currently in school for Nursing in hopes to specialize in Midwifery. I'm able to be moderately flexible with my availability, all I ask is for communication. I have a broad experience working with kids. I've worked at an overnight summer camp in NY, Lourdes Camp. As Counselors we ensured safety of the kids while also ensuring they're ALL engaged and having fun. Ages ranged from 6-14 years old. For every 2 adults there's 10-18 kids. We lead different activities, supervise during free times, set and served breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we lead camp activities, songs, and games. During the shutdown I helped a family with a 9 month and 3-year-old for a few months. My duties there consisted of making breakfast, lunch, and snacks, along with having play and nap times. I also fed and took their 2 dogs outside to potty and play. For both jobs, everyday was a blast!
