About Saira

Hello! My name is Saira H. I am pursuing a degree in international business and marketing at Portland State University. Throughout my academic journey, I have discovered a genuine passion for working with children. Over the past five years, I have enjoyed being a trusted babysitter and tutor for kids ranging from 5 months to 14 years old. One of the most rewarding aspects of my experience is my multilingual proficiency. I am fluent in Japanese, English, and Spanish, enabling me to provide language tutoring and academic support to children. Additionally, I have had the privilege of serving as a Spanish teaching assistant at Rigler Elementary for three consecutive summers. This opportunity allowed me to contribute to the learning environment and support students' growth. I have dedicated four summers to Kurabu Camp, where I had the chance to foster meaningful connections with children in a camp setting. I have hosted K-5th grade tutoring sessions at Richmond Elementary as well.
