Hi! My name is Sage, I am a Senior at Emory University, graduating this fall, double majoring in Neuroscience, and Psychology. In many instances, the reason many learners do not do well in the classes that they are taking is not because they lack the skills or knowledge to do well. It is more likely that they have not been able to properly engage with the material. My goal for you and your learner is to be an active participant in the student's relationship with the topics they are learning, by connecting them to things that are more enjoyable for them, rather than just going over the homework for the full session.
