Making a difference in people's lives is what drives me. With three years of experience in senior care, I'm passionate about supporting adults' and seniors' well-being and independence. My previous roles have reinforced my desire to positively impact their lives. I approach caregiving with patience, compassion, and meticulous attention to detail. I provide home health services, light housekeeping, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and support for physical activity. I am experienced in adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion or agitation. I prioritize creating a comfortable environment to build strong connections with those I care for. I communicate with families through verbal updates and follow their preferred communication methods. I have some college education and certifications in CPR and First Aid. I have a car. I speak English and French. Knowing I can bring a little joy to someone's day makes this work so rewarding.
