My experiences caring for seniors include the following; activities aide for 1 year in a memory care unit, and 2 years as a part-time caregiver/companion. I am a soon to be occupational therapist and dream to start my career in a skilled nursing facility to provide care for seniors. I am passionate about senior care because I care for the elderly and always want to make a difference in their lives, even if it is just helping with a pair of socks. As a caregiver and future health care worker I will always appreciate the elderly population because they have experienced a life that they want to share and I will always be there to listen, care, and love like they are my own family!
