About Sabah

I hold a master's degree in early childhood education from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I also hold a Maryland State Department of Education teaching license for grades PreK-3. I was also awarded the Maryland State Department of Education Teacher of Promise Distinction in 2019. I currently work as a first grade teacher in one of Maryland's largest and diverse school systems! My area of expertise include reading, writing, and math through play-based learning in a culturally authentic classroom. My motto is "All Are Welcome!" I take my students' backgrounds, cultures, languages, interests, likes/dislikes, strengths, and talents to create customized plans for their academic and social/emotional success.
