About Ry

I have been working with children for the past 10 years in mentoring, tutoring, and teaching roles. During that time, I have supported students academically while also helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a sense of ownership over their learning. I care deeply about creating spaces where young people feel seen, encouraged, and capable. Outside of my educational work, I am a musician and play several instruments, which has strengthened my creativity and appreciation for disciplined practice and self expression. I am also a former college athlete and lifelong fitness enthusiast, and I value teamwork, resilience, and healthy challenge. I enjoy reading and writing, and I bring that love of learning into my work with students.
