About Rya

Working with children has always been something I truly enjoy, especially being able to support their growth, confidence, and creativity. For the past three years, I've worked with a Summer Fun program in my hometown in Hawai'i, where I planned activities, supervised groups of children, and helped creative a fun and positive environment for kids ages 6-12. I've also gained experience as a tutor and teacher's aide in elementary schools, where I supported students with their schoolwork and helped them to stay engaged in their learning. I received my B. A. in Sociology in December 2025 from USFCA and also have First Aid and CPR certifications for children. I'm known for being patient, dependable, and for truly caring for every child I come across. I love incorporating outdoor play, games, and educational activities into each day. I'm always happy to help with cooking and cleaning when needed, and I'm so happy to provide a safe and encouraging space for your child to thrive!
