About Ruth

I am a mom, grandma and friend to many. I've been a caregiver my entire life being a child with two deaf parents required me to become a helper early in life. When my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's it hit our family hard with dramatic life changes that led to years of research, caring for him and improving my mom's life. Attending workshops and reading prolifically on many different subjects continues to better my insight and adapt to situations. I am excited to have found my calling and do something I truly enjoy. I am kind, compassionate and have quite the sense of humor. It has given me the pleasure of getting to know different families, enriching the lives of their loved ones. I enjoy working on personalized activities. I pride myself on being present, patient and encouraging. I am always excited to speak with families I match with to learn more about how I can help their loved one have an enriched day.
