About Ruthie

Hi my name is Ruthie, I was a Nurse Assistant Registered from approximately October 2010-March of 2016. I worked in an Adult Family Home in Marysville. There were four lady's that varied in needs. I preformed many basic tasks for the ladies from grooming, dressing, bathing, assisted in bedtime routines, eating and exercising. I also monitored vitals with medical equipment and documenting patient behavior and wellbeing. I a also administered medications and documented medication logs. I also served meals and helped patients eat their food. Provided companionship and friendship. I also worked with patients who were on Hospice, duties included changing clothing, bathing hospice patient and helping with hygienic routine such as brushing teeth, washing hair, bed baths, washing hair and keeping wounds and dressing cleaned. Changing bedding and timed rotations of turning the patient. I believe my most useful qualities in this role are patience, kindness, good listener and empathetic.
