My work with kids started when I was in high school, with babysitting some of my family friends' children. When I moved on to college I joined a volunteer program that involved tutoring students from less fortunate schools. In between school semesters I worked as a summer camp counselor. I then was hired as a community coordinator for a local high school, where I worked closely with high school students to ensure academic and personal success for two years. I am now a Elementary teacher for the Mobile County Public School System. I am CPR certified as well.
