About Ruby

Hi! My name is Ruby, and I genuinely love working with kids and being someone families can rely on. I grew up helping raise my nieces and nephews, so childcare has always been a big part of my life. I've cared for children from infants to middle school age and am comfortable with diaper changes, bottle feeding, meal prep, bedtime routines, and light housekeeping. Since joining UrbanSitter, I've gained experience working with different families, routines, and age groups. One of my nephews has severe food allergies, so I'm very mindful of food safety, labels, safety is always my top priority. I enjoy keeping kids engaged through reading, crafts, puzzles, music, dancing, and educational games. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, currently finishing school through homeschooling. I'm responsible, patient, dependable, and committed to providing a safe, positive environment for every child in my care.
