About Ruby

I am a sustainable environmental design student and am taking a break from school to save and earn extra income. I love art, reading, nature, and animals. I have always enjoyed spending time with children, and they love me. I have two years of experience babysitting, caring for siblings ages two and four. I played with them, read to them, went on nature walks, changed diapers, put them down for naps at bedtime, and cooked & cleaned. June and Walter still ask about me and cherish the time we spent together I spent last summer where I worked with children ages 4-12 at a camp for environmental education. I spent my time there caring for a group of about eight of the youngest children. We went on nature walks as I taught them about the local flora and fauna, played educational games, and did group activities. We went swimming, and I was responsible for watching them and ensuring their safety.
