Roy took care of my dad in the last year of my dad's life. He was an absolute Godsend to our family; I cannot recommend him more highly. He was always incredibly kind and patient with my dad, who could definitely be a bit of a cantankerous character. :-) He helped him to shower (something my dad was incredibly nervous about, due to his fear of falling), cooked for him, took him to medical appointments and helped him with his physical therapy. He was incredibly attuned to the slightest changes in my dad's well being, and caught a number of UTIs that were adversely affecting his mental state well before I even realized something was wrong. Roy became like a member of our family in the time he worked for us. He made my dad feel secure and well-cared for, and I'm so grateful for the positive impact he had on my dad's quality of life in the final year he was with us.
