About Roxanne

Hi! I'm a rising senior at UAB and I'm majoring in elementary education! I currently work with 1 to 1. 5-year-olds at a preschool. In high school, I was an aide for a third grade teacher and in the classroom. I also volunteered as a counselor at the YMCA one summer. I also did observations in a kindergarten class for one of my courses. I have a sister that is four as well. I'd describe my personality as supportive, patient, and nurturing. I like working with kids because I find it incredibly rewarding because it allows me to make a positive impact on their lives. Being able to contribute to their learning, offer support, and create a positive, nurturing environment is truly fulfilling for me! :) In my spare time, I like to read or crochet while watching a movie.
