In addition to being the mother of an 18-year-old and the stepmother to an 11-year-old, I've also had experience as a nanny to 2-year-old twin boys with special needs. I have also worked as an ABA therapist for children with autism. I began substitute teaching when my daughter started kindergarten and I loved it so much that I eventually got a full-time job with the Mt. Pleasant public school district as a special-ed Paraprofessional. I have worked with children of all ages and honestly nothing brings me more joy than engaging with kids! I absolutely love watching them explore their environment, seeing things from their perspective, and helping guide them make good choices in this world. Don't let my age fool you; I'm a very young 53-year-old who is a kid at heart that prefers not to act their age.

Roxanne was amazing with our child! She cares for him like family and encourages him to grow and learn. She is generous and creates an environment for learning through play. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for our baby!
