I have over 10 years experience as an educator and care giver. Originally from England, I spent 3 years teaching English in Japan, before continuing my career in education in America. In Chicago, I worked as an first grade learning assistant and elementary art teacher at the British International school of Chicago. When I moved to Portland in 2017, I worked as a full time nanny whilst completing my masters in Photography. I went on to teach art and photography classes for One River School of Art and Design. My most recent teaching position was held in the rural community of Spray Oregon, where I founded a media arts program for high schoolers, instructed welding, and taught elementary art classes! I recently moved to Bend to live with my partner, and am currently looking for part time childcare positions. I adore working with children and am confident, mature care giver. I aim to provide peace of mind for parents, and fun and compassion for your little ones!

If you're looking for Mary Poppins, her name is Rosie. Rosie is creative, energetic, patient, understanding and her way with kids is pure magic. She worked as a nanny for our 11 yr old from Sept 2017 - March 2018. Our daughter was in a critical period, recovering from severe anxiety. Rosie found ways to cheerfully and creatively get her to extend her boundaries and improve her confidence. She assisted with homework, planned outings/activities and helped around the house - even helping to train our new puppy. She was always willing, prompt and professional. I give her my highest recommendation. We will miss seeing her daily, but plan to have her back often.
