About Rose

I am a retired LPN who has worked in nursing homes for 12 years & Western State mental hospital for 16 years. I helped take care of my mother and my grandmother before they died. Currently I am in home health care as an aide. I like being an emotional companion to someone older; not just the medical and the housework. I enjoy talking to them and listening to what they have to say; I believe they have much they can teach us from their life experiences and what they have to say. I am not vaccinated due to medical reasons, and I can't help with lifting. On some newer medical equipment I might need someone to show me how to work it. I am honest and dependable; I don't steal and you can check with my present employer about this if you would like. I am not a morning person and also can't get out in snow and ice until it melts some. I don't mind going out and shopping for my client. I have the experience and the patience that comes with working with older people and I enjoy it.
