I'd describe my personality as fun loyal honest I like caring for seniors because I think it's incredibly rewarding to hear their stories and help them to live their best life right where they are at physically and mentally. I'm looking for a job that I can be of help to the patient and family. I am flexible on my hours and days. I am aware of how hard it is to bring someone into your home. . I started caring for seniors when I was 20 and took care of a retired pilot for 15 years. I then had a career in HR for 16 years before taking on the job as full time care giver for my mom who had leukemia and dementia. I also took care of my father who was blind and in a wheelchair and had diabetes and heart problems. I did all medications and pharmacy and grocery shopping and housekeeping, laundry. In my spare time, I like to hike and play with my four grandsons. My skills include assistance with transferring showering meal prep dressing organizing and scheduling and safety is a priority.
