About Rose

My name is Rose, and I am energetic, compassionate, attentive, and, most importantly, devoted to caring for youth. Coming from a large family, I have always cared for other kids throughout my life; I loved it so much - I've made promoting positive youth development my life's passion. I have a deep love of learning about all subjects and hope to develop curiosity in children through fun and engaging activities. I enjoy playing, reading, science experiments, arts and crafts, and more! I have about 7 years of child care experience varying from being a NYS Mentor for elementary/middle school students, working as a classroom intern for an elementary school and a teacher's assistant. I have a B. S in Human Development and Psychology and an M. S in Clinical Psychology; thus, through both my experiences and academic record, I am skilled in childcare with knowledge of educational activities to stimulate positive development. I look forward to meeting you and caring for your kids!
