About Rosa

I've been caring for children since I was 13, starting with my younger cousins, which grew into a deep love for supporting little humans. At 15, I became an event host for children ages 3-17, leading groups of 5-20 kids and creating an engaging, entertaining environment while always prioritizing safety. In HS, I studied Child Development, where I learned what each stage of a child's growth needs, including motor, emotional, and cognitive development. I later earned my Associate's Degree in Psychology, strengthening my understanding of behavior, communication, emotions and how to support each child's unique needs. I now work as a substitute teacher with students from preschool through HS, where I've learned to support diverse children and adapt to different learning styles. I also practice yoga, bringing a calm, grounded presence into every space . There is nothing more fulfilling to me than creating a space where a child feels safe and can grow into the best version of themselves.
