I enjoy providing a safe, caring and nurturing environment for the kids. Some of my responsibilities are: Preparing meals for the kids, helping kids getting dress, dropping/picking up kids from school, developmental games for children, daily records of children activities, introducing the kids to the Spanish language (songs, games and reading).

It is my great pleasure to highly recommend Rosa to anyone in need of an experienced, hardworking, and entirely devoted nanny. Over the last three years she has been a wonderful lifesaver for us, and we all, especially our two children (5 and 3 years old), will miss her terribly now that we are moving far away. It is painful to hear my daughter tell me each day how much she will miss her dear friend Rosa when the time comes to leave. I cannot say enough about Rosa's qualifications and her warmth, charisma, and unique ability to relate to children. She loves taking kids on outings to parks and museums, is eager to read and play, and is even able to keep up with the light housework. Besides her friendly, caring demeanor, perhaps the thing that my wife and I most appreciated about her was how our children were always active and outdoors when with her. This was even true in the winter, weather permitting. No sooner did she enter our house than she would get pitch a plan to the kids and get them excited about the next great adventure. It was wonderful to have our children get to know a whole different group of friends from those they knew from preschool. I fear our next caregiver will not be able to meet the high bar that Rosa has set. One important thing to note about Rosa is that she is extremely professional and reliable. She commuted quite far to work with us, but was never late, and in fact typically showed up early. Both my wife and I work, so we relied on her heavily for three to four days a week, and Rosa never let us down. It was a big help that she also has a car with car seats. Another thing I love about Rosa is how much Spanish my children learned with her. She is bilingual, speaking great English and Spanish. It is worth mentioning that Rosa is also wonderful for families with allergies. Our son has lots of them. She is experienced with inhalers and EpiPens, and watches what he eats like a hawk. There were several times that she saw local nannies sharing food with other children on the playground and reminded them that they should not offer our son anything, but instead talk to her if he asked them for a snack. Needless to say, my wife and I were so appreciative of how she protected him constantly. Thanks to her efforts he now knows not to ask other nannies for food. I am hopeful Rosa will be able to make a smooth transition from our family to someone's for the long-term. Any parent would be lucky to be able to rely on a superstar nanny like her. I would be delighted to answer any questions you might have about Rosa; don't hesitate to get in touch!
