About Rory

I'd describe myself as energetic, adaptable, and adventurous. I like working with kids because they bring out the best of me. They make everything fun, exciting, and a little chaotic at times. But I enjoy being role models for them and fostering their curiosity. I'm looking for a job that gives me purpose. I hope to be a helping hand to those who need it and be a strong role model for the generation below me. I started working with kids in high school as a neighborhood babysitter. In college, I worked a summer in the parks and rec day camps, two summers as a teacher's aide in elementary special education, and babysat for families around my college town. In my free time, I go to antique stores, yoga classes, read, bake, play pickleball, and go for runs. One thing you should know about me is I am a kid at heart. I love games, make believe, crafts, you name it. Being around kids brings out my true personality. My skills include patience, communication, and making everything fun.
