About Roger

I have a well-rounded liberal arts education and am well-read in a variety of disciplines and fields. I've taught as an adjunct instructor at Graceland University and have worked with youth and college students for over 2 decades. I have a 23year-old son who is currently in college in Iowa. Have experience and training through the Men's Leadership Alliance and in spiritual companioning via Benet Hill Monestery. Have worked as an ordained UMC pastor for 27 years. Strong backgrounds in philosophy, critical thinking, politics, civics, current events, society, spirituality/religion, meditation, listening skills, conflict management, yoga, running, weight training, physical fitness, photography, poetry, trumpet, & writing. Published author. Strength in helping students find their voice and to write essays & papers. Have taught trumpet. Much experience with elderly - including cancer & dementia.
