About Rodrick

I have worked in many senior nursing and rehabilitation facilities/ retirement homes as a dietary aide for many years. So I am familiar with the setting and communication with the elderly. Taking care of elders is also a huge part of my Samoan/Polynesian culture. I was raised with great values and respect; for as long as I can remember, taking care of my grandmother and the older generation of my family was always an everyday task. I believe it's also the reason I've become a great listener. Learning to listen, and listening to learn is what my grandmother taught me. Working in many nursery facilities in the kitchen has helped helped me gain knowledge on different diets and foods for our patients. Being able to communicate with them and learning patience are valves I believe I have.
