I 'm a very warm, fun and creative person. I have 19 years of experience teaching private voice & piano to students of all ages! I also have years of performing, recording and writing experience . I teach the important technical elements in both areas such as correct breathing, posture, warm up exercises, etc. for voice and for piano lessons - beginner lessons may start out with playing back/echoing patterns on the piano and later doing fun duets, scales, etc. to warm up before their lesson books. Pno & Voice stdts also get to choose from a variety of music such as classical, musical theater, Disney, rock, country, pop, spiritual, etc. along with fun music activities . I encourage any creative interests may have such as writing music. We have a (virtual) recital once a year. Although optional, it is encouraged and stdts prepare a piece in any case. I take a real interest in each student and enjoy getting to know them, having fun and enjoy being able to share their musical journey!
