I served as a caregiver for two children for over five years before returning to college and full-time employment. The two children I cared for mastered their age-related milestones and developed well. Both children presented on task with their milestones development and displayed appropriate skills and behaviors during their school-age years. I have extensive education and experience in early childhood development as well as with age-appropriate re-directing method with children. My education has afforded me years of experience identifying developmental delays and assisting children to master their developmental milestones. I have worked with the special needs population in public education and in the home. I am a nurturing person with a gift for promoting age-related development in children ages 0-17. I also have knowledge and experience with dealing with difficult behaviors. I assert by experience and education will serve as an asset to families wishing to employ me.
