I am looking forward to the possibility of helping you and your family! I know that this year is especially difficult with COVID-19 and I am happy to help facilitate online learning. I served as a school age director for a daycare program and have plenty of ideas on how to motivate school-agers. In addition, I taught English in Korea for a year and am sensitive to learners of new concepts. I have experience a large variety of subjects including early reading, economics, and algebra. I can't say enough good things about Robbyn. She was hired for a challenging job that we didn't really know what it would look like- to supervise and teach a "pod" of five 4th graders when their school closed for Covid-19, and she aced it. Robbyn was flexible to find structure and strategies that worked to keep the kids on task, to help them with their academic questions, to manage their tech problems (virtual learning has lots of quirks!), and to make it fun. The four other moms of our pods also agreed she is amazing. She clearly spent significant time outside of working hours planning and preparing for the days. I am grateful that she accepted our position!
