About Rivers

I am very patient as well as enthusiastic about my student's learning. It takes a little time to learn the way every individual learns, and I am willing to put in the work to best serve your student. I genuinely enjoy helping students develop. I am working on a degree in communications and psychology, and I love to learn how the students best retain information to help create better study habits. I also have found that employing learning devices helps to increase grades as well as recall of key points in the text. My skills include assessing individual learning styles, finding out the reason behind challenge points in student's learning of the curriculum, and helping students reframe their mental standing concerning the value of education. When you pair these assets together, as well as developing an individual plan for each student, learning takes on a different meaning. I believe it's very important for tutors to have passion when it comes to their students education!
