Hi! My name is River L and I'm a 21-year-old college student currently residing in Grand County. I'm originally from the Netherlands, but I've been in Colorado for about 5 years now. I'm pursuing a dual degree in outdoor education and psychology. When I was younger I always wanted to be an elementary school teacher, and because of that I ended up taking lots of different jobs as a babysitter. As a result I have about 5 years of experience and I'd be more than happy to provide references. If you choose to hire me, I'd also be willing to help with carpooling, household duties, errands, pet care, house sitting, travel, distance learning and whatever else your family might need help with. I adore skiing, hiking, writing & creating, and I'd also be happy to take your kids on walks or help them with arts and crafts. I hope you'll consider hiring me!

We stayed in Winter Park, Co. for the weekend and River came in on very short notice for us when our other sitter had to cancel last minute. She was great with our five year old daughter and had her asking "when she would get to see River again" River was very punctual and was an excellent help for us for both nights she visited at the Zephyr Lodge, Winter Park. Even keeping a close eye on our 3-month old who was asleep in the next room. We would recommend her to anyone looking to hire for child care/baby sitting!
