About Rita

I am available for holiday services: Mid-December through mid-January and for summer Mid-May through Mid-August. I owned and operated a a very successful business of senior care giving for several years. I have cared for dozens of seniors who all loved me, as did the clients who hired me to care for their loved ones. Most recently I also worked at an assisted living facility as caregiver for Alzheimer's and dementia residents. I also provided activities for all the residents of a 60 bed assisted living facility. Singing with the residents and providing other musical activities was an important aspect of the care I gave. I am compassionate, kind, creative, and dependable. I can provide great references if requested.

Ms. Rita wears many hats and has many talents. She has a huge heart and is very compassionate. I have known Rita for nearly five years and she is a dear friend. Rita has humbly served our family in a variety of capacities. She was a Nanny for our young daughter while I was working, she assisted us with house keeping tasks and odd jobs and most recently came to our aide in caring for my Mother-in-law who has late stage dementia so that my Father-in-law could attend a funeral. With little notice, she graciously came early so there was time to get acquainted with Mom's needs and how best to connect with her during their time together. Rita was very attentive to Mom and even sang with her as music is a way to positively engage her brain and bring a smile to her face. Rita's experience raising a special needs child and her experience caring for the elderly and and other individuals with special needs made her an excellent, experienced, worry free choice for Mom's care.
