About Rhonda

Hi, I'm Rhonda Johnson, owner of Paws Pause with Rhonda, a calm home for dogs who thrive in quiet, structured spaces. I care for calm, timid, anxious, senior, or low energy dogs who need gentle leadership. I have two friendly 8-year-old dogs who help set a peaceful tone. I volunteer at the Guilford County Animal Shelter and work with sensitive and anxious pups. I accept dogs 3 years and older. I do not accept high energy dogs or puppies, including dogs needing constant stimulation or high drive working breeds. Services include full day calm daycare in my home, short stay care in my home, drop ins for potty breaks and feeding, patient sniff walks or steady walks, and quiet overnight boarding. Morning drop off is flexible. Evening pickup is 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. Optional pickup to daycare is available in High Point for an added fee. I offer daytime care only.
