I have successfully raised 3 children to adulthood (and homeschooled 2 of them through 4th grade) and have lots of additional experience providing childcare for others beginning with my first babysitting job at age 9. I have an extensive background caring for pets--having worked as a groomer and professional pet sitter for a number of years. I have worked as a substitute para in the Mankato school district which provided me the rewarding experience of working with children in a variety of age groups (including those with special needs). I am very physically active and young at heart. I am very creative by nature, love to be outdoors exploring the natural world and enjoy helping children with their educational endeavors and/or expanding curiosity and sense of adventure. I am soon to be an empty nester (while still parent to one dog) and am looking for a variety of flexible income options to fill my days. I pride myself on providing high-quality service and reliability.
